Hisense is Chinese junk. Just spend the money and get a Samsung.

i bought that TCL ultimatehog recommended and its in a bright room and its by far the best TV i've ever owned.

crazy good blacks and it has bang & olfsen audio built in and supports the new wireless dolby vision nonsense (which i haven't tried to do).

its the best tv purchase i've ever made. i think i paid around $800(?) or so for a 75". I'll look around for the model # but it was WELL worth it.

Remove it from the internet. Use a high end TV box of your choice.

Connect the high end streaming box of your choice to the internet.
I recommend Apple TVs if you’re in the Apple world.

Best thing I have ever done to my TVs around the house. All of mine have been removed from the internet, factory restored, hooked up to Apple TV 4Ks (hardwired where possible) and they all work the same despite them being anywhere from 14 years old to 4 years old.

No Ads.
No lag.
They’re all “smart”, connected, can use my phone or watch or voice to activate them all.

We are an Apple and Alexa household. Never thought about a streaming box- this Samsung drives me bananas, thanks for the advice- I’ll ask my husband about it tonight.

My 4 year old can use the Apple TVs about as well as I can.

The built in apps and software on TVs is just there to monetize/subsidize the cost of the TV by tracking your content and selling it for ads.

They are all competitive on price now so quality will suffer
