So far I'm enjoying being able to mark a text as unread. Seems like this should have been out a long time ago, glad they finally came around and made this happen.

I really like the ability to flag texts now - I've been clamoring for that for years. Wish they would've gone a step further and allowed you to flag them without them still showing as unread. But it's a start.
The customizable home screen is pretty cool so far.

Haptic keyboard is badass. And now when someone likes/reacts to something on an SMS green bubble thread it accurately places it on the message like on iMessage instead of “so and so liked “whatever””

Not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but my battery life when to crap. I'll give it a couple of days to settle, but right now it's probably 2/3 of what it was.

11 pro max on the first day it was dogshit. Watching closely because it may force me to upgrade which of course is their master plan.

Swipe down search putting the bar above the keyboard instead of at the top kills a big annoyance for me on the Pro Max phones. Particularly when driving, I'd reach over, swipe down, and then have to awkwardly reach up one handed to delete whatever I may have searched for a second ago to get search going again (finding a number, starting nav, whatever).
It's a small change but a good one for me on the big phones. I like iOS16 a lot so far, TBH. More than I expected to.

Often it's because the phone is reindexing. Should settle down when done

Speaking of dick pics, the hidden folder and trash folder is now Face ID protected. That’s a nice feature.
