So this laptop, Ideapad 330s, has been slow since the day I got it. I know there is some bloatware that can be erased to help it run better. Any list of which apps or programs that can be erased that wont cause an issue?

Thanks

My manager is replacing our entire teams 2014 MBP's with Lenovo Laptops. We are getting the Extreme 2's. My MIL uses a Lenovo ThinkPad and has had nothing but problems with it. I want to kick my boss in the balls. Sorry, I didn't help. I just needed to vent. I am dreading the switch.

Try getting a Mac, they don’t have bloatware and don’t get viruses

I uninstall just about everything on a new computer, but if you are unsure about a program, just Google what's it is for. You can also try the built in fresh start: LINK

I have a Lenovo for work. Its nothing special, but I haven't had any problems with it. Biggest complaint is they changed the keyboard layout (switched the Ctrl and function key); very annoying.

I've had a Lenovo for a few years and don't touch it unless I absolutely have to. Slow as Christmas, randomly ignores keystrokes and mouse clicks.

Will eventually replace with a Mac and put Windows on a VM image.

Probably because you have a shitty mechanical hard drive in there

Got a 330s on the cheap about a year ago with 4g of RAM and 16g optane on a 1t drive. Ordered 8g RAM immediately and upgraded. Did a clean install of Win10.

I'm on it now from the camp; fast for home/secondary use and runs great.

Swap that hard drive out for an SSD and you'll see far more of an improvement

This, but here is how you check. Go to task manager and you will probably notice that cpu/ram all look great, but your hdd is constantly near or at 100%. Happens on every new computer that I look at that doesn't have a ssd.

SSD upgrade takes an hour or two, super easy.
