That's not really responsive. Can you give me more?

Can you tell me what info and why you don't want it shared?

Do some research and you'll understand that his rhetoric is highly exaggerated. Apple isn't the king of privacy as he proclaims.

It's the only hill he has to die on nowadays with their shitty phones. Gotta try and find some sort of propaganda.

Pretty much. It's stupid.

If you just want your phone to be tied to an ecoystem and everything generic, go for the iphone. It's fine. Android users enjoy and expect so much more, and it's why we'd never go back.

Like what for instance, tight integration with Google Docs?

Google Messages, the default messaging app for Samsung phones, has integrated video calling. Facebook messenger also is great for video.

So Google is even data mining your videos.

Nice...

As we have gone through in the past, most iphone users don't know the privacy they give up to Google either. So it really doesn't matter

Or should I not switch? I own a iPhone 14.

How important are social media apps to you? The optimization for those apps is the only thing I miss about iPhones. I've found generally everything else about a galaxy ultra is better

It’s a little ironic to praise Apple for protecting your privacy while leaving 16,000 posts on a public forum mentioning your age, hometown, family, routines, hobbies, and travel.

Apple may build a secure device, but it still has to be used securely.

I switched from iPhone 13 to S26. I am still figuring settings out, but it is a phone that runs the same apps as the other phone.

My carrier requires a physical sim so I could not stay with iPhone and get a new phone.

Most difficult thing was remembering all my passwords to set up my apps again.

Some of yall arguing over which phone spies on you the least is something else.

You're Ok with a mega corporation logging all your personal conversations?

In exchange for all its "Free" apps?

I don't know if I am ok with it, as I don't know what you mean and have never had a negative result. is this your stated concern?

How are Android apps and Apple apps different when it comes to "Free"?
