Long time Play Music Subscriber, No longer have access to YT Premium

Trying to figure out wtf happened, and of course Google support is no Amazon.
I've had Play Music ever since it came out and was "locked in" the $7.99 deal. Upgraded to the Family plan some years and and been paying 14.99 since. All of a sudden today I started seeing ads on Youtube. And I am seeing it (YT Premium) as an add on for an additional $3, wtf?
Also not sure how the YT Music transition ties into all this.

Tl;dr Google doesn't give a shite about you. Cancel it like I did and find something else to use.

Yup, same, my last bill I paid for a Google music service was October and boy did I tell them why I was leaving (not that they cared...)

Google music is gone, it is now YouTube music. YouTube music is included with YouTube premium which is $10 a month,

It was showing I had the family plan for YT music but it was asking me to tack on an additional $3 for YT Premium.
I went ahead and did it because I am so damn lazy. And that's exactly how they get people.
