Anyone know of a cheap or free website or software that can create a logo. I’m finally taking the plunge and going into work for myself and need a decent logo for business cards and vehicle door magnets

Honestly I have no clue. It’s a HVAC company owned by my brother and I. We are both retired military and wanted to incorporate that into the design.

Mate I'm thinking of conjuring up a logo for my estate. Oak leaves like the Sheraton logo with an interlocking B and P (almost like on a baseball cap) with the Oak leaves around it.

We did ours about 3 years ago for $50 online.
I chose a logo and uploaded our name, chose a font and colors and they sent me about a dozen different file types, including 2 embroidery files for clothing.
Best spent money yet! It only gets more expensive from there

We just googled logo creator and spent a couple days looking through them and finally settled on one.

This, fiverr is the bane of existence of digital artists. So much cheaper to get a really nice design from someone in Pakistan or Indonesia that you would be paying in the thousands for from a high end American company. Just do your research and review portfolios on there to go with someone that has done a style logo you would like for your company.

Fiverr is great, I use it all the time. Some artists suck but if I get a bad one I just pay them the measly $25-$50 bucks and don't use their image. Some artists are great, you get stuff that would cost thousands in the US. In the US they want to charge you to manage your brand, create a social media presence, manage your website, blah blah blah.
Now for simple logos I have some templates that make great looking logos better than what most businesses have. When I say templates these are professionally designed layouts and packages of images and fonts that work together something like custom ink has on steroids. Knocking out an AC company logo would be easy if you are just looking for something professional to put on your truck, invoice and social media. There are so many options, thousands, that I never will find them all plus you can import any graphics you want into the templates. It wasn't cheap but I use it for other things that make a little money.

I made a logo for my local beer club in about 20 minutes using a free logo maker website. Give it a shoot before you pay someone.
