Paying about $200/ month and my wife wants a new phone. Its looking like we can get bogo phones and save $50/ month if we go to Tmobile. $600 a year in savings seams like a no brainer.

Seems like phone service is something you just need to shop around every 2-3 years now right? Anyone to stay away from or better deals?

You should really look into the deals from the likes of Total Wireless. I'm paying $65 a month (including all taxes/fees) for x2 phones and 30gb of shared data. They use Verizon towers.

Now you don't get any deals/discounts on phones, but based on what you save, its worth it.

Some people say the prioritize traffic during high traffic times, but I have never had any service/data issues.

Visible can easily be only $25 a line, and will have 5G at no extra cost...

True. A lot of people simply won’t join a family plan with strangers to get it down to $25 though. It can be done though with 4 lines.

Don’t have any messaging issues either? Wife and I switched to consumer cellular earlier this year to save over $100 bucks a month but I quickly learned why. We hardly had enough service to send a text most of the time. They were also suppose to be using the same towers.

Depends on your location - my understanding is that Visible uses only Verizon towers and doesn't share towers with any other carriers as would happen if it was actual Verizon service. That said, I haven't had any major problems.

If I had any issues ...I’d bounce. I have no loyalty and have been with over 30 companies. Total wireless keeps me happy with lack of issues.

It doesn’t have to be a family member or friend to join Visible’s “family” plan or whatever they call it.

I think there are people on Reddit looking to join a “party.” No risk to you, each person pays their own bill.

Why? Forgot I started this thread.

My wife is giving me a hard no for anyone but the big players. I'll see what I can do

Eh, I don't blame her. Both need our phones for work. But yes i mean look at $100/ month savings almost for Total Wireless over the big 3 or whatever.

Biggest question are you mainly in a city or do you get out in the sticks. I been with T-Mobile on ATT towers but doesn't seem to have coverage I had with Verizon or ATT.

But since I'm rarely out at family in country it saves me about $100 a month. So worth it to me. + free HD Netflix for 2 devices.

T-Mobile can be great depending on your location. if the coverage is good T-Mobile is the best option. Their problem is the lack of coverage but it wont stop me from moving back.

We had for almost 5 years(Southshore/Northshore area) and it was great. We moved to verizon for the free phone deals. We will prolly move back to T-Mobile next year for new free phones.
