I 2nd Bayeux. Stayed there 3 nights. It was much cheaper than Paris and the full day DDay tours were awesome. The tapestry was a cool visit to burn a few hours. It’s in the middle of town. ...

Did I just hear that?...
140F setpoint could be too high… seems counterintuitive, but if u lower the set temp, you’ll be flowing more hot water to the shower head than you would have with the higher SP. This will ensure you have enough flow to keep the tankless kicked on. When this happens is your shower set on max hot ...

This is what I’m reading as well. I’m also currently running a small Plex server on a old computer that’d I’d be interested in moving to the shield tv pro. ...

Nvidia shield pro opinions

I have a 2016 Samsung 65” QLED tv. I’m currently using the “smart hub/apps” built into the TV, but it’s becoming increasingly slow and buggy. I’m thinking of upgrading to the nvidia shield pro versus using the built in tv apps. Apps I typically use are YTTV, Netflix, Disney+, Plex, Amazon ...
Man I love my 2019 Jeep JL, but damn the electrical is glitchy. I had a different Bluetooth issue in which my connected Bluetooth phone couldn’t take calls over the car speakers. Playing music would work, but not calls. Turns out the root cause was a bad TPMS module that plug into the same bus. ...
Thanks… I’ll be outside of Lyon. If I travel back to Paris after my work is done, I’d probably stay Saturday-Wednesday there. Any must sees? I’m not big on art galleries. I’d love to go to Normandy for at least a day trip to see some WW2 stuff. ...

Business trip to France - UPDATE

Posted by KingofZydeco on 8/16/22 at 8:35 pm
I’ll be traveling to France in a few months for work business for a week (m-Fri). I was planning on taking a few days of vacation on the back end to see some of France. I’ve never been to Europe before, so any suggestions are welcome. I’m also trying to figure how many extra days makes since...
I have a mighty mule and I put in the same for my dad. It is nothing fancy, but it’s been going strong for 4+ years. It’s equipped with a hard wire “cycle” circuit that I wired a $15 WiFi relay switch to. I can remotely open/close my gate from my phone or via Alexa. ...

re: Pool Build Cost

Thanks all... I'm actually getting an old pecan tree taken down tomorrow and I'm putting up a medium size above ground pool to "test the waters". Looks like I'd need to bank on $75-85k for a rough budget and hope the prices don't keep skyrocketing over the next couple years. ...

Pool Build Cost

Wife and I are interested in eventually putting in an in ground pool in the BTR area. We still have young kids, so we are a few years off, but I’m curious to gauge the price people are paying in the area. I know it can vary based on what you’d get, but we’d be looking at something pretty basic. I’d ...
