Is there an app that keeps your phone from even showing spam calls?

Already have whatever AT&T offers. All it really does is label the calls as spam. The calls still show up as a call and my watch is buzzing. Such a pain in the arse if I’m doing something or watching a video on my phone. I tried a few others. But they all do the same thing. Is there an app that completely filters out spam calls altogether?

For Android... the workaround I've found is set a Do Not Disturb mode for everything except contacts and whatever app you normally use. Not perfect, since it still comes up as a missed call, but you won't be looking at it every 10 minutes.

Same for me on an iPhone

I’ll try that on my iPhone and see if I can have text messages bypass the do not disturb.

I have a trial subscription to Robokiller. You can set it so it asks the person calling to state their purpose. You can also set it to have a bot talk to the person on the other end and record it for you.
Neither setting allows the phone to ring for a robo call. You can set to block known scammers or block anyone not in your contacts.

I believe something like this is coming to iPhone in iOS26. I believe Google phones have it as well already.

I told the ATT app to send spam calls to VM, and my phone got much much quieter.

Yes RoboKiller is the way. I've had it several years now. Worth every penny for the aggravation it saves you.

My native Pixel OS does a good job filtering them
Then if it's a random that gets through i sent it to the Google Assistant

Funny thing is that scammers don't bother me. I like to waste their time by pretending to fall for it.
What makes me irrationally angry is robocalls that don't connect you to Apu or when Apu immediately hangs up instead of trying to get your information.

Robokiller got 5x more expensive about three years ago.

This is working exactly as I wanted. Only showing up as a missed call. No calls show up on my screen and my watch isn’t vibrating on those calls. Thank you.
