Help with delay between two Roku TVs

I have 2 TCL Roku TVs one in the kitchen and one in the den both are hardwired to internet.
The one in the kitchen has about a 2 second delay and I can’t figure out why.
It’s a problem during gameday when both TVs are on and the people in the den tell about a big play before it happens in the kitchen.
How could one be delayed when they are both hardwired and both using the internal TV Roku?
I use youtubeTV

I don't think there is any way to fix that. Other than getting an HDMI splitter and a long cable, which probably wouldn't be worth it.
I've had similar problems with other devices, two Apple TVs both hardwired and they are never perfectly synced.

You could try pausing the one that's ahead to sync them back up, but it will never be perfect.
Streaming is a different beast than broadcast. YTTV will never deliver the same stream to two devices on the same network at the same time. Your devices handle their own caching before playing the video. There are a lot of factors.

I don’t have YouTube TV, but can you pause the one ahead for 2 seconds and then start it again?

I can but was looking for a solution I didn’t have to mess with everytime. Sounds like I don’t have one

We use an 8-unit Cat6 to HDMI converter at our pizza place. The 2 unit will work for you. Install a fire stick to the main unit and push the same signal to both tvs. gofanco Prophecy 1x2 HDMI Extender Splitter Full HD 1080p Over Cat5e/Cat6/Cat7 Ethernet

Just to clarify, both of them are hardwired to Cat5/Ethernet, or both of them are "hardwired" to HDMI? I assume the former, but I'm getting confused by the comments about HDMI switches, so I DKWTFIGO.

Both hardwired to cat5 internet. I don’t think the hdmi option will work for me. It’s too long of a distance to cover. Probably just have to pause it every time

In this case, it's most likely the device. Get a wired Roku , plug it in, and see if that fixes it.
I will warn you though, having wired devices (computer and Roku Ultra) there may be a difference. Hulu app on my PC (2.5GB connection to a switch) and Roku Ultra (also hardwired) had a 20 second or so difference. Into the same switch.

Seems logical, but in my experience as soon as it goes to commercial, the injection of their targeted ads/bumpers will get the two ever-so-slightly out of sync again, and it's compounded over time.

Had the same problem on game days when people are in the keeping room and living room watching the game. I muted both and bought an iPod with radio function so I could pause and sync sound with pic. I do have ceiling speakers in both rooms from the same receiver. But that was my solution. The small gap between pics and audio synced is not noticeable.

Smart — that's a good idea!

There is really only one way to synchronize, and that's to use a single point of distribution by using a video matrix to receive the signals and then share that signal to multiple devices. That's how it's done in bars and restaurants

Have done a ton of research and this is the best way. With OP having Ethernet wired it should be pretty easy, but will have to use WiFi to get internet signal on these situations as the Ethernet will be used as the AV signal
