Help an Old Man Disable Sidewalk

I've googled several times and everything says go into the Alexa app
Although I have two working Echos, I can't find an Alexa app either on my phone or computer. I've been using the Echos for several years, but I don't remember using an app to get it set up. Pretty sure I was able to use my computer. I have opened Amazon and found my devices, but nothing about disabling this new spyware.
I have an app for Ring, but I've searched and cannot find anyway to disable Sidewalk on that app.
Should I go ahead and download an Alexa app onto my phone?
TIA

Yes. That is where I disabled mine.

Yes, install it and login with the Amazon account you used to set up your devices. In the app go to More>Settings>Account Settings>Amazon Sidewalk, and toggle to disabled.

Thanks,
I've downloaded the app. I find More>Settings>Account Settings ButThen - nothing about Sidewalk.
I went to my Ring app - found Sidewalk, but there was no way to disable it.
Wonder if it hasn't been installed everywhere yet?

Weird. However I believe sidewalk only works on the outdoor ring cameras, so if you don't have those devices then it doesn't matter.

On my iPhone, the Alexa app shows More>Settings>Account Settings, no Sidewalk... but it does have "Guest Connect" which sounds like the same thing. I turned it off last week and it's still off.

My Alexa app account settings screen looks almost identical to yours, except it does not include "Amazon Sidewalk".
I get the same message on my Ring app as you show. I have a Ring doorbell but no Ring cameras.
Guess I don't need to worry about Sidewalk with my Echo devices.

Are you sure you have logged into the app as the poster above mentioned?
Nevermind, I logged out and see that you're required to login to do anything.

I believe Sidewalk is only enabled on various Ring devices and Echos made 2019 and later, so if your devices are older you won't see that option under Account Settings

As far as I can tell I'm logged in. The only option I can find with respect to that is a Sign Out on Settings, preceded by my first name. It shows all my devices and other acct info. I could be wrong but every indication looks like I'm signed in.

Pretty sure you are correct. Doesn't show up for me either and I have my own camera system.

Makes sense. Mine are older than that and I definitely don't have the option. Updated app and everything

I do have the option even though I don't have any of the listed devices (I do have a few doorbells though).
Are we sure it's not an issue specific to the iPhone app?

Mine still doesn’t have Amazon Sidewalk in Account Settings

I actually just did this for my parents on one of their iPhones. The process was the same as on my Android.

Guest connect is not the same as Sidewalk.
I'm running the latest Android and do not have the Sidewalk option. All of my Amazon devices are older generations that don't support it. So either they haven't rolled it out to all accounts yet, or it doesn't show up if you don't have an eligible device.

This should be a PR nightmare for Amazon.
