I saw a commercial last night for cox gigablast saying they were covering Jefferson Parish and when I go to their website and put in my address it shows it's available.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt on how you burned through a TB of data in a half a day.

Me, I have GB fiber and usually end the month around a tb.

when i switched to ATT Fiber 2 years ago Cox insisted i could get gigablast when in fact i couldnt. I checked online while on the phone with them while i canceled. Caller her on it and she said the website was wrong.

I ended up calling back after to get a new rep and said i want to get gigablast and was told it wasnt available. They lost my business with that bitch lied to my face.

Had a similar situation but it lasted a couple of days and spanned a couple of different service reps. Turned out they were just really bad at their jobs. They were CONVINVED gigabit internet and the Ultimate Tier were the same thing. I switched to ATT as well.

Docsis 3.1 rollout has brought "Gigablast" to more places since they don't have to roll out fiber. You get close to Gigabit down, but its still 35 mbps up.

Yeah they haven't bonded the Up channels to allow faster upload speed yet.

I hate it so much but at least I don’t have to worry about overages
