Google’s UI looks like it was designed with crayons

I love Google products and use most of their major services. I especially love the ability to switch between accounts within any app. But gawt damn the UI looks like it was designed for 3rd graders.

I really really really loathe the pastel vomit everywhere android has ever since Android 12.
I miss the normal blue color on quick toggles and systems menu having different color symbols for sub menus.

every time i try to do simple things like calling a number for a business i just looked up on google is an exercise in frustation.
does nobody at google actually look at USE CASES of how people want their phones to work?

What is the issue? When I find a number online I just click it and the phone app opens with the number ready to go. I just have to hit the call button.
Is that how yours is?
