Do I understand correctly that you are giving away for free several hundred 24 inch LCD monitors?

Yes...
as a corp, over the last few years, we have been swapping campuses to all Dell..
this left the BTR campus with approximately 150 LG monitors after users took them home, etc..
most are VGA/DVI, so they are what they are..not a lot of stands, but a good bit of monitors..
Our facilities has called dumps, etc who told him no and its not worth the shipping to just put them in one of our centralized warehouses
feel free to @gmail me with questions, i know he wants to get them off the floor

I mean, I’d probably take 2-3 of them for random projects I have, but I doubt that helps you much

is this where we are as a society? a $3 dvi->hdmi adapter too much to spend to keep a monitor going?
at the very least someone creative could take the whole lot and create a video wall art project.
if i was younger and had more energy (and lived near you) i might even have taken a stab at it.

we're a fortune 200 company that cares about uniformity in our offices across the globe...I don't make the rules..Also, new docks don't play well with this ancient technology

Plenty of people already took some home with IT telling them not to call with issues

What is the native resolution of the monitors?

Can you load them on my flatbed to haul off, or will I need to bring cling wrap and a ton of packing material?

So how would I go about snagging a couple? I’d be interested in grabbing a few.

On a serious note, a couple of months ago, I picked up two perfectly good 1920×1080 monitors at the local thrift store for $10 each. Bought a $35 dock and now the kid has a space in the office to plug in his school chromebook. Now he doesn't have to look at a microscopic screen to get his homework done.
With almost no effort and very little resources one could do all sorts of things with these. For example, one could set up an after school coding lab (that's how I got my start on computers back in the early 1980's.) I'm sure there are non-profits in your area that could make use of them. How about contacting the local scouting council and see if some enterprising scout could come up with an Eagle scout project using them.
E-waste is a big issue and keeping this many monitors out of the landfill would be a worthwhile endeavor...

Well are you going to pay to keep them out then?

Well first off, it was a rhetorical response and should have been taken as such. Secondly, I live over 1000 miles away, but if I did live closer I would definitely try and help with the solution. All I can do from this spot is help come up with ideas to extend the life of these still working devices...
(the real answer here is to try and change the corporate mentality of having to discard this many devices simply because they want parity in their work spaces. In fact, I would argue this goal is virtually impossible to achieve in any practical sense. Furthermore, if I were a shareholder of this corporation, I think I'd be pretty upset at the wastefulness of this strategy.

How about contacting churches or schools (especially private) to see if they could use them
