I’m looking to buy a nice pair of earbuds to use at work and around the house. Ive used my son’s Powerbeats pro and like the way they easily pair with iPhone and I really like how they announce who’s calling me by giving the name in my contact’s list and allow me to answer by voice prompt. The thing I don’t like about them is the ear hook and the bulky case.
I like the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II, the Sony WF-1000XM4 and the beats fit pro. Do any of these have the same functionality as the Powerbeats pro?? Especially the call announcements with the contact list name instead of just the phone number announced. Also voice prompt answering calls instead of reaching up to touch the actual earbud.

I found Soundcore has good options but I was being cheap so bypass this if price isn't an issue.

I'm not an audiophile but think bigger differences are in headphones not earbuds.

I have the Sony wf1000 and have been very happy. The battery life is amazing.

Soundcore Life series. The only problem I've had is the fitting app that creates a super seal on the buds. This means sweat can't leave, and the bass turns into trash once my quarts of sweat enter my ears.

However, 90% of my sweat comes from my head, and I'm abnormal. I started using Bandz to redirect the salty goodness away from my ears. It's not Soundcore's fault, just the fact that they drove me into ear configs that don't permit proper drainage. Otherwise, great stuff.

I started using the sport series from Soundcore to work out in, and while great, the earhoook guarantees that sweat is going straight into my ears.

I was gifted the Bose and loved the sound.. But after a lot of recharge cycles, the buds would only charge up to 30%, and drain quickly from there. Chunked them.

I got a good price on Jabra Elites. Hold a charge for a long time and great bass (something that I often find lacking in ear buds).

Got some Beats Studio Buds as a gift. Didnt think I would like them but they work really well. They need some aftermarket foam tips and then the noise cancelling is legit.

I was also given a pair of these as a gift and you are right, they are great earbuds with aftermarket tips, but they still lack the features of the Powerbeats pro. I’m really interested in finding earbuds with those features I mentioned above.

What do you want to spend?

I don't need or want anything fancy, and I bought the JLab Go device for $20. I have been quite pleased with it.

Soundcore is the best bang for the buck out there. I have a pair of buds and earmuffs with noise cancelling for gut grass. Everyday around the house and about town I bought a shokz bone conducting set of headphones. Total game changer for me. Keeps you aware of your surroundings but no one can hear what you are listening to.

Jabra Elite 85t is what ive had for a little over a year. They still charge quickly and hold a charge just as long as day 1. Charge the case and it will recharge the buds 6-7 times before needing to be recharged.

Sound quality is great. ANC and "Hear Through" technology work awesome. Sound settings are easily customizable via the app to your preferences.

Ill be sticking with Jabra when/IF these ever wear out.
