I've got the pixel 6 and just checked, not available for update and I'm not getting on the beta.

What you got?

It's available on my 5a 5G but not on my husband's 6a. I'm waiting until prplhze reports back before I download it.

It's perfectly safe. Even last beta was fine on my 6a.

Took well over an hour to download and install. Can't tell much difference but I don't customize everything on my phone either

What determines who gets it and when? My 6 says it's up to date with 12.

All pixel phones (3 and up?) are currently getting it. Keep manually checking for the system update daily. For many folks the automatic rollout wont happen for weeks but if you do the manual check/update it will start the update immediately.

If you dont want to wait, you can always use the google flash website to download the android 13 image for your phone and flash it that way instead of OTA.

I’ve been running 13 since Beta 1 on my Pixel 5 and the only significant issue I’ve had is the lock screen and at a glance weather is still not working.

been on A13 now for a few hours. The only difference I have found so far is that you can now change the clock format on the lock screen so you dont have to be stuck with that humungous 2-row clock anymore.

It is released as a final. No need to join beta. All pixel users can get it.

EDIT: Looks like all Pixel 4 and newer have it available right now.

If you go to settings/system/check for update and manually hit the "check for update" button, it should ask you if you want to install Android 13.

Having said that, if you want to sideload the OTA patch (it should udpate exactly like an OTA update w/out losing any data):

https://developers.google.com/android/ota

Read the instructions before proceeding but there is no need to lock/relock bootloader and there is no warning about losing any data. You are essentially just downloading the OTA update, putting it in the right spot and then the phone sees it and starts to install it on its own.

Been doing that since this morning and still nothing.. even restarted my phone to see if that triggered it. I'll keep waiting.

Clearly not yet. I'm sure all pixels 4 and up are eligible, but they have not pushed it to everyone.
