Do any of y'all still use bit torrent for getting music ?

Seems like finding reliable sites have been much harder to find in the last year or so.

Demonoid used to be my go to site for music and epub books. When they went down it was Kickass Torrents.

It also shut down.

Any suggestions for a good torrent site for music and books ?

I don’t think I’ve used torrents since early 2009?

There are super private audiophile torrent sites out there with stuff you can only dream about.

Shitty streaming quality and the same 5 songs constantly is good enough for most people.

Shitty streaming quality
Most people who listen to music in their car don't have the system or setup in place to listen to a quality stream anyway. Not that that environment would make a difference anyway. Sitting alone with noise cancelling on isn't how most people experience their digital music. Even travelers won't need to have the best quality in general.

I haven't in a while, but back when I did it was to download high quality recordings of concerts. Stuff you can't get on Spotify or Pandora.

shite naw, man. Way too much effort to download, store, and transfer music to my phone. YT Music streaming here. Also, admittedly not an audiophile. I know a few audiophiles and they don't ever stream or steal music (or so they say). They purchase all of it to support the artists.

Nah. Just use Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube premium. Cheap and legal.
