Looking for opinions

Simplisafe and Ring are the two I see most often. Any others?

Love ring. No hard drive in the house. I can yell at the kids/dog while they’re home and I’m at work.
I have 3 motion light cams and the doorbell. Nothing can approach my house with out being caught. I get messages/vids of near by ring customers that had shite stollen off their porches.
Cons: cost like $13/mo. Alerts when anything crosses the yard(phone buzz at 3am). You can adjust the sensitivity and you would be surprised how many cats/rabbits/squirrels are around. Spider built a web on a cam and it sets it off.
It’s a great easy to install system but I also put in the basic alarm when I built my house with the door/window/motion detection

We have had SimpliSafe for 2 years now. I like it. Super easy to install and use. We have one indoor camera that works well.

Love ring.

I have it at my house, office and camp. The app sucks sometimes with freezing or not connecting to a cam unless I kill the app and restart. Other than that I like it. I have a couple indoor cams at the office that I can move from window to window depending on where we have equipment parked outside at the time.
Spiders are a biotch for any motion detection alerts no matter the system

Have Simplisafe and Arlo.
Support at Simplisafe was good having to use it a couple of times only.
With Arlo, I have an extra battery and change them when necessary as opposed to hard wiring the cameras. Swapping batteries is not an issue with me..

I have a brand new-in-box Simplisafe system. Never used it, seemed simple enough but went with just swapping alarm monitoring companies.

No love for Ubiquiti? I'm planning to do it for my new house, both for internet and security. Bad idea?

I have the Ubiquiti Amplfli Mesh system. It's been great. Simple to set up, rock-solid performance, and control everything from an app.

Updates are seamless.
