I get all the normal channels you get with cable.

Tbh if you disregarded the guide interface differences if never notice a difference between YouTube tv and cable. It functions exactly the same way and costs almost a grand/year less.

I actually like the YouTube tv guide much more so than the cox guide. You have a tab for recordings, a "home" tab, which displays shows you watch regularly or similar shows. The home tab also has the shows you started watching but didn't finish.
Then you have the "live tv" tab that functions exactly like a normal cable guide.

Ok, this is a bump to see what experiences are a few months in. I am a free agent with DirecTv, having avoided their overtures for me to upgrade over the last few years. I think my current genie/clients are maybe getting a little fudgy running the software, not to mention it costs an arm and a leg every month.

I have 100 Mbps and unlimited and dependable, so no issue there. I've toyed with the interface on the trial a day or so now, and I can't see much of a downside except that I'll need to pick up HBO and any other pay move svc ala carte, which looks like I'll still come out way ahead. Thanks for any info regarding users who have been on it a while.

Just got YouTube TV. Love it so far. Only thing 'missing' is The Weather Channel.

And Food Network, HGTV, Discovery, Animal Planet and TLC.

YouTube has a disadvantage compared to Netflix & Amazon Prime when it comes to original content. In addition, they have the least contracts with the major networks for series replays.

Did a chat on the AT&T site yesterday asking about current specials compared to that of Hulu or sling. I let them know that I have cell phone service as well. He then proceeded to tell me that he can take $25 off any package. So I selected the just right package which is $40/mos - $25 monthly credit bringing it to the $15 and he threw in the HBO.

I have the new Apple TV with the remote with the trackpad and siri. Although it took some getting used to I was recently given an old apple tv with the old style remote and that thing completely sucks, making the new remote seem much better

Have Youtube TV and it's great for the price. Only issue I have with them is I'm not a huge fan of their recording functionality. When I'm done with a show, I want to delete it. Sometimes I watch something and it disappears, sometimes it doesn't.

Started Hulu today and it’s there is no drop off for me. We don’t watch much tv but some reality shows and what not. I get all those with Hulu.

DirecTV now is brutal.

I have youtubeTV, Hulu and FuboTV and FuboTV probably has the best interface (and soccer channels) whereas YouTube TV has the best overall picture quality and channel line-up.

I just called and got rid of dish a few minutes ago. Decided to try YouTube tv since they have a two week trial period right now. I must say, the 30 minutes I’ve been on it I’ve been impressed
