Family friend who works for Cox just told us he had to get called in regarding the outage. Unknown as to what caused it but it's statewide.

My company's Cox connection went down around 7ish. Couple hours later for my residential account a few miles down the road. It's almost midnight and it's still not back up. Something screwed up big time.

Seems to have come back online about 5:40

Def would be interested in their post mortem. Estimates based off a few alerts it started going down around 730pm and started coming back up around 530am. That's pretty significant.

Mine was restored this morning, lasted all day and then about three hours ago went down again. Still down right now.

Ok, the fact that they haven’t disclosed what happened and that it was part of an apparently much wider outage kind of has me wondering….
Anybody else heard anything?
