Christmas lights fail... Need suggestions.

First, I'm a dumbass. So, let's get that out of the way.
I linked a series of Christmas lights (the kind with extra female plug at the end for linking) across several bushes and including up a tree in which I had used a ladder. What a PITA moving the ladder around the branches of the tree. Anyway, not paying attention somehow at both ends I ended up with female plugs. I'm trying to avoid rewiring. I know it is unsafe AF but do they make a double ended male-male plug to connect to the female end of the extension cords that I have ran next to either? Even better yet, what would be the safest solution to the issue.?

No, but you can do it unsafe AF as you put it.

Just use two dark colored extension cords.

It doesn’t work that way. You need to redo it.

It is unsafe AF, and that's why they don't make it.

Even better yet, what would be the safest solution to the issue.?

Redo them. That's not only the safest solution, it's the only solution.

Hardwire that shite.

They don't make it, but you can make one yourself with paperclips and superglue. Dont forget to post pics.

You can make one it’s easy by making your own extension cord with two males, they sell everything you need at Ace or any hardware store, what you need to fix though is the male end dangling free, that’s a hazard just waiting to shock someone. It’s better to just redo the lights.
When I use to do my lights to music setup. I had all kinds of weird combinations of extension cord ends. I’d buy cord in bulk and cut it to length and put the ends I wanted on them. You just don’t want to leave any male connections exposed, that’s a fire and safety issue.

Thanks to everyone. This is the only solution. It's a major PITA but I should have payed attention the first time. Out of all the years doing this I guess I just got lucky. I randomly must have them serially because I never made an effort to.

They’re called suicide plugs for a reason. You’d have to get some extension cords and splice them yourself.
You may as well re-do the string instead.

somehow at both ends I ended up with female plugs

The only way this would be possible is if you had a female to female adaptor in there somewhere. Get rid of that.

I'm having trouble understanding how this happened as well...
I've only ever seen xmas lights with a male end and female end.

I tend to agree!

Or something like that.

For all that shite i wouldn't redo all of that.
Two male plug ends from the hardware store about a foot of romex/sos cord and be done. Dangerous yes, but I wouldnt be fighting re-running all them lights.

If it's really that much of a pain to restring the lights, maybe OP can can run an extension cord to the male end of each string.

It wouldn't potentially be hot, it would be.
Plug in first to lights. Couple wraps of special 33, plug to wall and done.
