I could see how a cheap product that isn't set up properly combined with an Obama phone would cause nothing but problems.

My power bill is already low because I took the time to program mine pretty accurately. No reason to support Nest.
I went with an Ecobee 3 Lite, got one for $140

I know you're trolling but the half millisecond your wifi hiccups is enough to put you outside the geofence and you and I both have to live with the idiosyncrasies of a 30+ year old aging GPS satellite system all our devices rely on.
I set my geofence to email me when I enter or leave the fence and I wake up in the morning sometimes with 5-10 triggers.
That's the definition of a useless technology. Go back to the drawing board guys.

I am definitely not geofencing. I do gps testing on occasion. I don't want my house responding to that.
