I just can't believe how quickly I was able to access that video.

They forgot the part where those people just went to McDonalds because Burger King was being a bad company. Then Burger King goes out of business, and a less bad company takes its place.

So you're telling me that if I don't like Comcast, I can simply just buy Charter, At&t, Google Fiber, or Cox??!!??!! Why hasn't anyone ever done this?????
Oh, that's right.

You likely will be able to if any of these companies begin to take advantage of consumers.
How is that tiered internet working out for you?

I wish I could get a Whopper a la carte and pay for a faster food lane.

Yeah except McDonald's sucks compared to BK. So people are forced to pay more or wait for their beloved Tigerdropp ...err Whopper, or settle for the shitty substitute.

You realize it was just repealed and they'll slow release it over time, right? Or do you think big corporations are stupid enough to change everything at once?

This only works if a McDonalds is in your area. If not, your stuck with the shitty BK.

Who's stopping google fiber from servicing your area?

How can McDonalds be "less bad" than anything?

What? I feel like I'm being taken advantage of by Suddenlink as I've been saying my bill gets bumped up $5/month every few months with no explanation and when I call to challenge they basically tell me tough luck. My only other choice is ATT that maxes out at a whopping 3 Mbps, but in reality it is usually ~0.8 Mbps.

Net Neutrality makes people really dumb.

AT&T and Comcast finalize court victory over Nashville and Google Fiber

So local/state governments made legislation that prevent google fiber from being installed, then can't create new legislation to allow the installation, and the solution is more government regulation (ie net neutrality)?

Are you insinuating that Comcast doesn't ever take advantage of consumers? And if Comcast did take advantage of consumers and had a lower approval rating than say, the IRS, and was caught and sued for secretly fricking over consumers, then someone else would take their place? Is that your position?

Wait, but I want my Whopper with no pickles or ketchup. Are you telling me I can't get that? I have to get it with pickles like everyone else?
