Damn. That $150 toshiba at best buy is in store only. I was at BB last night, saw them getting them out for tonight. NO chance they will have them even if I go up there tonight at 8.
Their online TV deals don't look that great as most are in store only.

Sweet, but I want the 26800 with quick charge. Unfortunately it is 80 bucks. Not bad since it is 150 retail.

Hmm.......Samsung 48 inch for $380 or Sony Bravia 40 inch for $399. I've always loved Sonys.

Heck I was going to buy another today for $25. Glad I decided to come browse this thread before purchasing. If they get to $15 I'll buy at least two.

yamaha 677 for 299
For good or bad I pulled the trigger on the Sony 750 at Best Buy yesterday. They had a certified open box for 179.99. It may not have all the bells and whistles but it has all I need and so far everything sounds great.

Rep at BB tells me that they are better than the Samsung. I've never had to take a Sony back or throw it out early

Happy Thanksgiving!
Looking for advice. I impulse bought online a 50" Sharp for $299 + Free Shipping at Best Buy last night. My current panasonic plasma is 42" and 9 years old.
Is this a good value? My intention is to use this for a year or two in the main room and then rotate to bedroom and buy something much nicer when I buy a home.
Should I be really concerned about watching sports in 60Hz?
Is the $799 60" Samsung 4k such a smoking deal that I should pay the $500 more now?

Is the Echo worth having? I have been thinking of getting one and would have at $99, but you've got it close here. Seems like a cool toy and useful for automation.
Also, people were talking about a $150 50" TV, where is that? I have the Amazon app, am I supposed to look tomorrow only or something? There was a Best Buy one too, right?
ETA:
Out of stock at Staples now anyway.

If you actually understand all of the things it can do it is worth it.
That $150 50" TV is like a unicorn. I have no clue when/where/how anymore
