yeah thats why there's the 8 and the X, not 8 and the 10. leaves the door open for the 9 next year.
next year the standard version will be the 9, and i'd imagine some name such as X plus, or X^2, X version 2, etc

So does this mean there is no touch id anymore? Why not put a finger scanner on the back like other phones do? Having to use FaceID will mean my wife will never ever got iPhone if this becomes the norm. She refuses to use anything that keeps this kind of information.
