I'm on my 3rd one and the panel just failed. Purchased 7/13/21. Luckily this time I bought a 5 year extended warranty from some place called Upsie.

Yeesh, that's brutal. I haven't had any issues with my Series 4s or 5, but that's not exactly responsive to your question

We will see how this warranty works out. The reviews aren't great.

Yes! When you turn ours on it just slowly fades to black and will not come back on. I just bit the. Holler and bought a new LG. Wish I would have in the first place!

The right side of mine crapped out. Left side looks perfect. Last one the picture looked all white looking. shite never ends with these new TVs.

I just replaced my TCL R625 65" because it got damaged. It was a great TV while we had it.

Yes, my wife knocked it off the entertainment center while trying to adjust a large clock behind it. It hit the stone floor and had about a 30 degree bend in it. Other than that, no isssues!

My 6 series screen went black after 10 months. I could hear sound, just no visuals. I contacted their customer service people and they send me a brand new mini-LED one because they didn't have the older models in stock anymore. Took about a week to get the new television delivered. It's awesome.

Just read that Costco dropped them due to so many warranty claims. Still might end up being cheaper if the extended warranty pans out.

Not a failure, but I find mine really slow and laggy to the point of frustration. It's an outdoor TV I turn on twice a month which is why I tolerate it.

Oh I believe it would fail. Hence the 5 year warranty. Thought I might make it to 2 or 3 years though.

Upsie warranty says they're not gonna bother fixing it. Sending a check for $600. I think I paid about $700 for the TV so not bad for a cheap warranty. Just ordered a Sony X900H.

Ordered a Sony and decided to try to fix the TCL. Someone suggested a Tcon board. Ordered one used for $15. Opened the TV and behold, the Tcon board that is supposedly the problem has Samsung right on the chip.
