Any new streaming devices to recommend?

We have the Roku 3 and love it, but we need to get a couple more for other TVs. Is the Roku the best device, or has something better come out? What does the board recommend these days? Thank you!

It really depends on what you're wanting to do with it. Apple TV lets you screen mirror from iphones. Fire TVs let you install apps like Kodi to access "free" TV and movies and it's got nice integration with Alexa if you have any echo devices.
If none of that is of interest to you then you should probably stick with the Roku.

4k Fire stick is really nice and goes on sale for $35 occasionally

I can screen mirror perfectly with my iPhone to my fire tv. It’s pretty simple after you download one app.

I have a roku, fire stick and chromecast.
I've found that a combo of Roku OR Fire Stick AND chromecast is what covers all the bases for me

Apple TV is my favorite so far and I’ve had Roku and Fire TV. Apple changed the fast forward game.

It's also the only one I know of that has a native HDHomerun app + they now sell their own DVR kit. If antenna + streaming is a consideration, it's probably the best.
I think Roku wins the interface award.
It's really hard to lose so long as you know what 4-6 apps you want to use and confirm they're on the platform.
ETA: lack of IR receiver on the Firetv (older gen. Uncertain about current generation) drives me nuts.

I can mirror my iPhone to my Samsung TVs with the free Samsung app. Can also use my iPhone as a remote for the TVs too.
