I played a few heavy files on mine, but it does come with an ethernet adapter so the network is a little more stable...I can't get past it not playing a series from where I left off..Not sure if this is an Alexa thing or cube thing, but I don't want to watch S1E1 when I say "alexa, play ..."

I've been using my Xbox enough to not want anything else and will probably only keep the cube plugged in so the kids can ask it questions

it actually does have Cortana, but those things are useless for me..I wanted to try to the cube to see how it was different, but I'll just go back to using my remote and yelling at a box

I finally got mine setup.

Everything works well except it is having trouble changing the input on my TV. (Samsung JS8500) . I'm thinking this may possibly be a line of site issue but haven't been able to get it right yet. Anyone else having this issue?

Otherwise, it controls my Directv receiver and is streaming 4k HDR on prime video with no problems.

Already have the label printed for mine..Too many quirks that I can take an extra two seconds and just do with a remote

It's nice, but it needs some updates fast.

It seems my soundbar problems are gone, so that's good. It needs the voice recognition speed amped up significantly because of nearby Echos.

I like it, but it takes some getting used to, and right now the voice controls are only really viable on Netflix and Prime, although I don't have Hulu or Vue.

My Netflix is hit or miss..Some shows it plays the next and some it goes to S1E1...Might as well use the remote

I've never asked her to play stuff from Netflix because I don't think she's smart enough to work profiles. The Recommended shows from Netflix usually vary based on whether my wife or I were watching Netflix last.

I agree, smart TV apps are terrible. I have a few Samsung Smart TVs and the apps are slow, then they eventually stop working at all after a year or 2

I've had that issue even before the box... If instead of opening Netflix app to find a show you go to the list of netflix shows on the firetv home screen it goes to S1E1 instead of your next show. And even besides that I still have to use the remote all the time.

I also don't like how it pauses TV when I give it a command... but it only pauses while it is "thinking" after I finish talking. I think they did that so that Alexa can hear your commands better but I'm usually done talking by the time the TV is actually paused so I'm not sure what pausing is accomplishing.

Still like that it can turn on the TV and change the volume. Two less remotes I have to regularly use.

Seriously? I think that would piss me off half the time. I'd rather get the same functionality with Fire TV + Harmony Hub + Echo Dot. Thanks for the warning

What does the Harmony Hub do? FireTV + Dot was my previous set up.
