5 series 65” on sale today Walmart and amazon for $750. I think I’m pulling the trigger since my research showed the 6 series and 5 series aren’t terribly different, just slight upgrades

Best Buy has the 4 series for $599, still not really sure of the difference but that seems like a great deal too.

I need a new TV for my living room. Is the 6 series that much better than the 5 series for the price? ($649 vs $969)
TIA

I picked up the 5 from Costco this weekend and started setting up last night. So far, so good. Also has the voice control remote, and two year warranty with Costco.
In researcing said the difference was backlighting a little better in 6, different stands, and a few other things. For me, I saved the $300 bucks and I am going to get a new TV for the patio with the difference.

Can now snag the 65 Inch 6 Series from Best Buy for like $875 before taxes and free local delivery.
I currently have a non 4K 55 inch and am thinking about pulling the trigger. My budget is around $1,000. This the best bang for my buck?

Depends, best bang for buck overall is Vizio P series easily.
If you watch a lot of sports or play video games, the 60Hz panel of the TCL is brutal.

Anybody deal with “banding” on the 6 series?
