I used this last year for Ole Miss. We didn’t spend too much time there except to sleep. But, it worked out great.

What is the LSU section for Ole Miss?

Posted by tennfly2 on 9/23/25 at 1:43 pm
Looking for 4 tickets for Saturdays game. But, I’d like to know the LSU sections for my search.

TIA
I’m all for recouping season ticket costs by selling prime games. But, to say you have zero desire for net profit is a little disingenuous. You paid $9500 for all 7 games but you’re asking $8900 for 2 games. The point of selling here is 1: to cut out the middleman (stubhub) to save on fees and 2: greater likelihood to sell to tiger fans. Most appreciate that you’re trying to sell them here but the only ones paying those prices will be corporate buyers.
I’m interested in the Ole Miss game. tennfly2@gmail.com

Where is the concert? If in the stockyards, stay there. The Drover is super nice but has gotten very expensive. My go to hotel now is the Springhill Suites if staying in the stockyards. It has an awesome rooftop bar. Heim and Salsa Limon are my go to for food. I really like Paloma Suerte too, then head next door to Second Rodeo for drinks.
West 7th has gotten a bit trashier (by Fort Worth standards). If downtown head to the Thompson’s Bookstore, theres a speak-easy bourbon bar downstairs.

Wow! Great advice here. Looks like I’ll put Top of the Rock on the list. 9-11 memorial is really for me. We’re going next week. I’ll report back.

NYC with teen daughter

I’m taking my 15 y/o daughter to NYC next month for 2 nights (Wed-Fri). We’ll get there early Wed and leave late afternoon Fri. Staying at the Sheraton Times Square. We’re planning 9-11 museum, 5th Ave, Times Square, and a Broadway show. Looking for more suggestions and well as suggestions for food (not too expensive). Is the Empire State Building worth it?

What’s the best way to get tickets for a broadway show? We’re looking at Wicked, but are up to see other ones. Also, does it really matter where in the theater the seats are located?

TIA
I have the epic pass and flying to Breck tomorrow with my family. We also go to PC quite a bit. Without kids and your ski level, I would go to Vail from your list. Really, I would go to Whistler even though you don’t have it on the list but it is part of epic. Vail is a great town and mountain with solid blues / blacks. I’ve never been to Whistler but I hear it’s even better.

We’ve had several over my lifetime and a few have had back problems. There is nothing they can do other than pain pills, it’s probably just inflammation. They’re going to recommend he be out in a kennel for 10-14 days with limited movement. Most likely, this will fix the short term problems and get him relief.

This is what we did although it didn’t take more than a week to get back to normal. I just put down our dachshund last Oct after 15+ years. He had 2 back episodes. After the first one, I was in the same position as the OP with my wife. Luckily, we tried the pills and at home kenneling first. We have another one now that’s 4 mos but I still miss my old homie.
Found some. No longer needed

This actually sums it up minus the carrier capable reason. The KC130J can refuel pretty much anything with a probe because the herc only has baskets to connect to.
I’ve actually flown that specific bird many times. To answer your question, as mentioned, refueling speeds are 240-250 KIAS which are well above maneuver speeds for those jets. The KC-130J is organic to the Marine Corps which streamlines the tasking. Fun fact, the Marines have the second largest tanker fleet in the world minus the USAF of course.

So we use them because the Herc is the most versatile aircraft in the world. It refuels Helos and Ospreys too. Helos refuel around 115 KIAS. Not to mention that the Marines also do short field ops, parachute ops, amongst other things that a turbo prop can be more advantageous.
The Aviation Museum is closed. I wanted to go last month. Maybe check again when you’ll be there but I doubt it.

re: Anyone here in the Reserves?

First, what specialty? I did 11 years AD, and now have 5 years in reserves. It’s easier to transition to AD if you really enjoy it versus being stuck in a AD commitment. If you have a degree don’t go enlisted. Be prepared to deploy regardless of specialty. Your civilian job by law will have to accommodate. Also, look at the guard too.

Overall, it still can be a significant time commitment, meaning keeping up with 2 jobs can be a chore. But, I still enjoy it and you won’t have better camaraderie than with your unit.
You’re flying in a C-130J going to Souda Bay, Greece, crossing the boot of Italy. On a side note, tune your navaids.
Hey guys, I just started a 20 week marathon training program this week for the Marine Corps marathon on Oct 27. I’ve been using a AW3 for tracking runs for 6+ months and it’s been consistently 3% longer than actual. My local 10K course shows 6.39 miles and I did a half that showed 13.49 miles. I’m looking at the garmin 235 in order to keep an accurate pace. Thoughts/suggestions? TIA

I need a new TV for my living room. Is the 6 series that much better than the 5 series for the price? ($649 vs $969)
