He really deserves better than being on the bench but Essien is my all time fave forever GOAT and the reason I'm a Chelsea fan and I'm caught up in the N'Golo love at the moment.

I appreciate him but not one of my favorites. I've not been a fan of some things he's said and done since leaving United. And just prior to his leaving United for that matter.

Yea his post United career probably rubbed a lot of people the wrong way but on the field he was the man.
