Musah has become such a fixture for the USMNT it feels a bit odd to peg him as the US breakout player of the year, but this feels like it could be a significant leap year for Musah with him locking down a starting spot with Valencia and playing more centrally for them.
The work rate of midfield in Qatar really could be something to behold.

Aaronson with an assist for Leeds to level with Everton. Leeds has largely dominated the game.

Adams was on the official Leeds podcast last week, just getting around to listening.
I didn’t know his grandparents are Scottish.

At least he should get plenty of minutes and everyone seems to score in the Dutch league.

AC Milan are in advanced talks to sign Sergiño Dest from Barcelona, as
@relevo
reports. It’s concrete and also advanced — been told it’s a loan with buy option not mandatory. He’d sign until 2025. #ACMilan
Dest has no agreement with Villarreal and AC Milan are pushing.

And now it looks like it's done

AC Milan and Barcelona have already reached full agreement! Sergiño Dest discussing personal terms. Been told contract will be 1-year loan, potential four year deal if buy clause will be triggered — so 2027*. #ACMilan
AC Milan are ready to complete the deal in few hours.

Should we be concerned that McKennie was an unused sub today after only playing 13 minutes last match?

I’m thrilled to see Dest move. I believe his ceiling is as high anyone in our player pool.
Per this article Milan should be able to give Dest immediate minutes

I watched the first two matches and he didn't look good at all. The kid Miretti took his place and looked pretty good. Juventus looked like shite in general though.

To be fair he was also played on the RW in his sub appearance for some reason
Posted on 9/1/22 at 8:07 am to etm512
He has basically been played as a right winger every time Juve plays a 4-4-2 and generally looks good there despite it not being his natural position. When they play a 4-3-3 he plays as one of the more advanced midfielders.
