Don’t think Vazquez will make WC. Needs more experience in higher level play but looks promising. Not even sure he fits Greg’s system. Too much unknown. That said, greggg likes Ferrera…

He's 1000% getting called in for the september friendlies both Gregg and Vasquez have hinted at that. if he performs well in those, he'll make it to Qatar.

I understand the bias for Ferrera since he scored 4 goals against Grenada (sigh), but I don’t understand Vazquez at this point. Hasn’t played any minutes for USMNT nor international experience other than youth stuff. Don’t get me wrong, he looks promising as I said, and has the right play and physique, but quickly baptising him onto the plane for the WC seems a little impulsive given we are 3 months away from the WC.
But if I had to choose, I’d take him over Ferrera. Trying to imagine both those guys against the worlds best backlines doesn’t compute for me.
