Konrad de la Fuentes started today. He’s started 3 or the last 4 league games for Marseilles.

Musah with a goal and assist in a cup game.

Also being reported that Wes has returned to training on his own.

The opponents for Valencia (Musah) in the Copa del Rey were severely outmatched. They are an amateur side in a small mining community with a population under 5000 people.

You play who is in front of you. After all Italy and Portugal are having to play in consultation games to make it to the World Cup. The USA missed a World Cup when we lost to Trinidad.

No shite, you play who is in front of you. I will spell it out more clearly: I am not getting excited that Musah is doing well against Spanish amateurs from a small town in northeast Spain! The Valencia squad playing a lot of their bench players had 82% of the possession through the initial phase of the first half. I quit watching mid way through the first half because it was such a boring match.

Ok dude... At the end of the season everyone will look at his goals and assists and they will not remember that those were against lower level competition.

I am not everyone and was not speaking for anyone but myself. Some may get excited and that is their prerogative.

In the grand scheme of things nobody cares who you scored against only that you scored. Ronaldo is currently being praised for having scored 800 career goals. Using a snapshot of his from his career in the 2021 International duty he had 5 total goals against powerhouses Luxembourg and Israel and thats just one year. Since Ronaldo also played in La Liga how many of his goals might of come against low level opposition in Cup games? The same for his early years with Man U. In the end these are good slump buster goals/assists that set players on the right track and build confidence especially young players like Musah. Be bullish if you want but I see hope in these.

I care who he scored against because the quality of the opponent indicates how skilled the player must be to score the goal. If you don't, that is your right.

I interrupt this bitch fest to sadly say it looks like Marsch is done at RB Leipzig. I hope he bounces back. If I’m LAFC I write him a fat check but I want to see him stick it out in Europe.

Adams, Scally, Brooks, Richards all starting this weekend in bundesliga. Only Richards a winner.

De la Fuente and Dest starters again. Dest appeared to be back at FB.

Multiple reports saying FC Dallas has multiple bids over $12 million for Pepi. They need to do the right thing and sell the kid. Good fee and the kid wants to go.

He needs to go somewhere where he will get decent playing time leading up to the World Cup. I am a fan of Ajax, personally. He wouldn’t be expected to come in and be a starter, and would get to learn a lot from Haller.

I would also be happy with Ajax. Strikers need to see the ball go into the net. He will certainly score a few as a rotational forward for Ajax.

But no question Pepi needs to make a move to Europe this winter or summer.

CP enters the Champions league game against Zenit with the score tied 2-2 in the 65th minute. He collects an assist in the 85th minute but his would be game winning assist is lost when Zenit gets the equalizer in 90+4.
