1. Reggie Cannon has left town. Heading to Portugal, I'm told. He will not be with FCD this weekend say my sources.
2. Bryan Reynolds has agreed terms on a new contract with #FCDallas. 4 years, approx. $2 mil combined.
So Cannon is off to (likely) Portugal, and Dallas is signing his 19 year old back up to a new contract.
If those numbers are correct for Reynolds, then it's not quite as much as Cannon and Pomykal are getting, but that's still a significant investment in a teenager that hasn't played much in the league.

He's got way more potential than obscurity in Portugal.
I really hope he wasn't so triggered by the boos that he actually took the first offer he got. If that's the case then I don't know if he'll have the right mentality for the National team anyway.

Maybe he’s trying to use this as a stepping stone to a bigger European club but an obscure Portuguese club is a strange decision

Boavista has some kind of partnership with Lille. There's some rumors that it might be an immediate sign and loan by Lille, or some other agreement where Lille will buy him if he does well at Boavista. There were reports that a French team met the asking price.

I’ve hoped for a while that we could get more kids at mid table sides in France. Lots of technically gifted youngsters vying for spots over there.
