DeAndre Yedlin update, per source:
-Likely headed for Newcastle exit after talk with club
-No new contract talks (deal expires in 1 yr)
-MLS "at the top of his list" but unlikely to happen right now due to fee/contract (he'd have to be a DP)
-Informal talks w/ MLS clubs
Some Yedlin context:
He's interested in an MLS return, but again, not likely at the moment. Barring a huge pay cut, contract would make him a DP. Only one DP fullback in the league right now (Ali Adnan).
Obviously fluid right now, no exit is imminent but heading that way

I wish he'd stay in Europe, but he could play more of a wingback/hybrid right mid in MLS and be worth the money. He played much higher for Newcastle in their setup after the restart anyway.

I would prefer he go to Germany or somewhere that’s still a high level. Don’t pull a Bradley and come back to MLS in your prime.

The difference with Bradley was that I think we felt like there was a higher gear he could've reached if he stuck it out in Europe.
I think Yedlin has maxed out his potential. What he has been is who he is.

Wigan lost their appeal and are going to be relegated. This means Antonee Robinson will be sold for less than 2 million and can almost basically pick the best situation for him due to his transfer fee being so cheap. He has a relegation stipulation in his contract that enables all of this
