He may be the starter for RSL this year. They brought in Zac MacMath as competition.

Tyler has created two big chances, and Leipzig has shat on both of them. They’re down 1-0 at half.

Vassilev became the 2nd youngest American to play in the Premier League.

Reyna became the youngest American to play in the Bundesliga.

Both on the same day.

Kelman scored for Southend United yesterday. 2nd goal in 4 games since returning from a 3 month injury. It was Southend's first win since Sept 21 (Kelman scored in that game as well).

I just want to see this young core all healthy for one US match.

I would say every match, but I don't want to be greedy.

Luca Lewis has started the last 9 games for Torino's U19s. He's kept a clean sheet for 6 of the last 7.

Manager praises Vassilev

“He is definitely ready to start,” Smith said. “The kid’s a bright spark, and we’ve seen that when he’s come on so far. He gave them (Brighton) problems on Saturday when he came on. It was a super ball from Douglas but, unless Indi makes that run down the side, he doesn’t drag Webster across, and Jack get in for the goal. He knows what he’s doing up there, he’s got a lot of pace, and he can run all day as well.”

Timmy Chandler has been playing excellent for Frankfurt lately, now that he's finally healthy (and possibly focused) is it time to give him another call up assuming he stays on form come March?

I'm fine with sticking with the players we've had and really wanted to be here.

Yeah, and I thought he was really really poor out there. He’s so much better centrally where he has the freedom to snuff out counters, and link up with the midfielders up front.

You can tell that he doesn’t really want to drive at defenders 1v1 down the side, because he had loads of space to do that, and More often than not he’d just play a backwards or diagonal pass. He was fine defensively out there, but i think it’s clearly not his best position.

Miazga injured his ankle and was stretchered off the field.
