It can be improved, though. Especially in terms of leadership and structure.

No doubt, but there's a huge gap between "can be improved" and "broken".

Miazga scored this weekend to keep Vitesse in Europa League contention.

Was a header from a corner.

Unconfirmed but I was told that the U.S. U-19 goal scorers vs. Ukraine were Blaine Ferri and James Sands, FWIW LINK

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Sands consistently break into the NYCFC first team and begin to get significant minutes pretty soon. Very bright prospect.

Straight from US Soccer:

Another won.

The U-19 #USMNT defeated Ukraine 2-1 behind goals from @jamessands_16 and @BlaineFerri. The squad can book its place in the Slovakia Cup final on Thursday with a victory over Czech Republic. LINK

Aye. We've got more young talent than we've probably ever had.

In Belgium, Oud-Heverlee vs. Kortrijk are underway. #USMNT central defender Erik Palmer-Brown with another start for Kortrijk.

This is his 4th start in 5 games. He came on in the 17' in the other game.

News from @torontofc:

"Jozy Altidore underwent successful surgery to remove bone fragments from his foot earlier today in New York. Altidore is expected to be out of the line-up for the next 4-6 weeks."

In the Dutch Europa League playoff ADO Den Haag 0-1 Vitesse in the 29th. #USMNT CB Matt Miazga started for the guests. American born/raised but Norwegian NT forward Bjorn Johnson started for ADO.

If Pulisic stays at Dortmund, looks like his new manager will be Lucien Favre.

Big win for Matt Miazga and Vitesse which, absent a disaster, will head to the Europa League playoff final after a 5-2 away win in the first leg of the semifinal against ADO Den Haag. Miazga conceded a penalty, but otherwise went 90 was pretty solid. #USMNT
