Goslin, Bello, and Kunga are all getting the start for AUFC2 against Charlotte in the USL today. I *think* this is Goslin and Bello's pro debut. Kunga started last week.

Bello just scored 28' into his debut. Made a nice overlap to the inside, got the through ball, dribbled for ~20 yards, got bodied and was going down at the top of the 18, got just enough behind the shot for the ball to roll by the keeper.

Announcer said the team is going to watch Deadpool 2 in a few weeks and said Bello won't be allowed in.

Emmanuel Sabbi

20 years old. Was on the U20 WC team. Was with Las Palmas, but signed with Hobro at the start of this season. I think this was his 10th league appearance this seasson.

Josh Sargent is getting rare minutes with the Werder Bremen U19s in a friendly tournament in Dusseldorf. Scored two goals over the weekend. The first was the opener in a 2-1 loss to RB Salzburg. Good run to the back post, no mistakes left-footed finish. LINK

And here's the opener in a 2-0 win over the Everton U19s. Knocked a long ball down for a teammate, drifted to his right, got the return pass and smashed it past the keeper with his right foot. LINK

Stop the presses! He scored a third this morning in a 1-0 win over Huddersfield's U19s. Thumped home a rebound off a corner kick. That's three goals in three games. Can't play official matches until the end of this summer, but these are good signs. LINK

@FutureUsmnt

In addition to a terrific goal, Emmanuel Sabbi was voted Hobro's man of the match for the first time this season

I’m really hoping Sargent and/or Tim Weah pan out. We desperately need depth at the forward position. Altidore and Wood are good, but very streaky goalscorers who are prone to long droughts.

I'm as cautiously optimistic as anyone, but Sargent is the truth.

This.

Sargent reminds me so much of Harry Kane, I see him panning out. Im probably in the minority here, but I think Tim weah will be a bust in terms of being an integral USMNT player.

Is anyone expecting him to be a focal point in the future?

Sargent has technical ability beyond his years, with maybe the most important being how well he moves off the ball already. it's cliche but he's in the right spot at the right time more often than not.

Weah reminds me of the kids from elementary school who were just so much more physically gifted than everyone else that they never had to develop technical skills to compensate. fast forward to high school and that lack of development stagnates their growth as an athlete.

I'm not putting Weah into that category, just something that worries me
