Remember GGG also has a falling out with Duane Holmes.
By falling out you mean he didn’t really rate a midfielder in the championship. Stop trying to make it like Gregg has a personal vendetta against every player who doesn’t feature in the pool.
Holmes hasn’t done anything to warrant a call up. He’s a 28 year old championship journeyman.

There was no falling out with Holmes. He didn’t impress in camp and has been a bang average championship/league one player his entire career. Why do you make shite up

Again you are wrong.... And yes their was a falling out.
I am sure he was a much better option than Seabass, Trapp and Jackson.

Article does not say this.
There are a lot of reasons someone isn’t called up.
Not be called up =/= a fall out.
Article says

unless something happened on the inside.
Could be anything.
Poor attitude.
Not the fit Gregg wanted.
Poor chemistry.
Gregg not being as familiar with him as MLS players.
Etc

Even now, I think we have at lease 5 or 6 better CB options than Brooks right now.
Brooks is not ever going to be called up again. As of last week his name had been removed from the USMNT on TV on the ussoccer website. And please.... Brooks is a locked in starter on Union Berlin a top eight team(currently 1st) in the Bundesliga. Name me just three center backs not named Ream that have his cred.

Reporting from the Onion Berlin?
Or was it a typo and you mean Hoffenheim ?

Intelligent argument you make here, care to include some supporting proof of this so called fallout?
All the guys you mentioned are also no longer in the picture. None of them, including Holmes, would be a difference maker on this team. Again, weird hill to die on.

At least give him the right team, especially if that team’s position is key to him being worthy of a call up.
I like Brooks but he’s slow as shite. I’m fine with him if we are playing a 3 man back line but otherwise I don’t see the point of calling him in.

Pretty good interview actually. Here's some good bits. Make of them what you will. I’m sure both sides of the GGG fight will find different meaning in his words.

Their continued estrangement reflects what is an extremely fraught situation between not only player and coach—but their two families. As we spoke, it was clear that Berhalter is still nursing wounds over the ordeal. He called it “an unfortunate period” for his family to go through, but said it also “brought us together and helped us communicate.” Berhalter said he has consulted experts in mediation work to ensure the dispute with Reyna is handled “in the right way.” It’s all still raw, and Berhalter is proceeding cautiously. “It’s not something where you just pick up the phone and say, ‘Hey bud, here’s how it’s going to be,’” he said. “There is work to be done.”
Berhalter is confident that he and Reyna can emerge on the other side of this in harmony, saying their “goals are much bigger than any individual relationship.” He called Reyna a “super talented player who can help this team.”
“We started this process of how to set expectations a little and figure out how we’re going to move forward together,” Berhalter said of his relationship with Reyna.
“Some of it will involve him, some of it will involve us, and eventually, hopefully, it leads towards Gio being comfortable in the team, comfortable that he’s being evaluated fairly and coached fairly and held to the same norms and standards as everybody else,” he added.
When I asked if he would be able to reconcile with Claudio and Danielle Reyna, Berhalter looked anguished as he considered the question for several seconds. “I don’t think that’s a subject I’m comfortable talking about,” he said.

Nice to see him not only admitting he needs help in a certain area. But getting help from experts. Not many can or will do either.

This doesn’t help.
Why do these interviews man. All your time should be on getting g better as a coach and figuring out how to make team better.

I feel like this was a puff piece meant to garner sympathy for him, but all it really does is solidify the fanbases apathy towards him and just further proves the point that we needed a change.

I think whatever anyone’s opinion of Gregg or the situation didn’t change based on that.
Which begs the question… why the frick is the USMNT coach doing Vanity Fair articles?

It’s hilarious enough that you got the team wrong, but it’s even more hilarious that you are using standings to prove a point when we are only two weeks into the Bundesliga season.

His cred? The frick does that even mean?
Regardless, Trusty, McKenzie, CCV alone are all better options than Brooks right now,
