I just can't take the constant "outrage" bullshite from everyone. There's no grey area on most topics. It's all sunshine vs doom and gloom, black and white circlejerking at times.
As someone who used to defend Jurgen, it makes me sick that an awesome win devolved into a "frick ALL THE JURGEN HATERS" schtick. It can't ever just be "This was a good win for Jurgen in spite of all of his flaws". Everyone's got to fricking fanboy super hard to keep their cred with their side high.

That's pretty much most sports fandom in the social media age. Soccer fans used to be somewhat different, but the more the sport has gone mainstream in America (and it still has a long way to go), the more it's becoming like this.

I quit going there years ago. The only reason I continue coming to this site is for the SB. I just feel like there used to be much more discussion here. Much more unity for sure. We all rose as one erect penis when Stubear was still doing his thing on the pitch.
That said, I agree with my United brethren. This is just how sports are in the social media age. I just want to be able to enjoy this shite again without having to deal with a war between rival factions.

A few years ago, we didn't have posters who openly tried to be as annoying as humanly possible. And people just can't ignore them (myself included).
