Run of play absolutely favoring Panama right now.

ghana was terrible in run up. Think people mistaking them for previous WC versions, saw those odds and thought definitely overrated

Ghana is probably weirded out by the fact that water is falling from the sky.

Think I just saw the first yellow card worthy foul being awarded one I’ve seen in a bit lol.

Refs have overall definitely seemed more lenient this cup. A lot less of those ticky tack jump ball fouls. Nice to let play keep going especially since already have a built in break up of play with the hydration breaks

Know that’s 2014 but 2010 L still pisses me off. First thing I think about when I hear Ghana. All that euphoria in group stage to finally finish 1st only to have cup cut short in the first knockout round

2010 was the one with the super controversial disallowed goal wasn't it?

Just feel like Panama deserves a goal. Been on the front foot all game.

Get your head over the ball and put it on frame. Lord.

Nah, we just couldn't finish in 2010.

The 2006 loss to Ghana was the one where they won on a penalty that wasn't a penalty.

I thought I remembered us scoring and it being disallowed by a really shady offsides call or something but idk. I've slept a lot since then.

Hmmm, the only two egregious disallowed goals I can think of are the Germany non-handball in the 2002 quarters and the phantom US foul negating Mo Edu's would-be winner in the 2010 group vs Slovenia.

Reminder that this ref clapped back in Arabic at a Jordanian player who was complaining about a foul

That might be what I'm thinking of.
