The final match day for Group H ends with a sputter... but gives us a highly unexpected result
Spain wins the group with a 1-0 win over Uruguay.
When combined with the 0-0 draw between Cape Verde & Saudi Arabia... we get the stunner of Cape Verde finishing 2nd in the group & advancing to the KO round while Uruguay fails to get 1 of the 3rd place spots to advance... joining Saudi Arabia on the plane back home tomorrow
Final Group H Standings:
Spain 7 pts +5 GD
Cape Verde 3 pts 0 GD
Uruguay 2 pts +1 GD
Saudi Arabia 2 pts -4 GD
