Why the extra time change from 4 to 5?

We made a sub right when they gave the extra time.

They could have been deciding between 4 and 5 minutes... went with 4. Then we made the sub so they switched it to 5....
Im not sure Im just thinking of why it changed. And thats the only thing I can come up with.

I think we went over our allowed time of laying on the ground and grabbing an ankle. So we had to add an extra minute.

The clock was at 90:50 when the sub finally came on. I thought it was dumb too, but I can see why they did.
