The competition doesn’t matter so he isn’t going to behave like it does. In short, he doesn’t care about tradition.

If Klopp was italian would be get the same pass?

I don't blame Klopp for resting guys. The PL trophy is the only one they haven't won. They have a chance to get a solid gold one. They need to stop with the replays in the FA cup, just go to extra time and end it.

I would NEVER expect a Man City fan to understand his reasoning for wanting to win Europe over the fa and rink a dink cup.
You won't ever have to worry about this problem.

Right.
I know City have spent the GDP of a small country, but let’s not act like Liverpool are living off of academy grads and small fee transfers.

You already won the league that’s why everyone thinks the cup shouldn’t be dismissed
Now focus on the cups
This is the only take you should have.
Let's think about this logically. Man City are in second place with 51 points and 14 matches remaining. That means that they can achieve a max of 93 points.
Liverpool only needs 27 points to guarantee the league title (extra point to account for Man City winning GD) in 15 matches. That would be a pace of 1.8 points per match. Liverpool is currently averaging over 2.9 points per match. And this is only if Man City wins every match. It's over.
The only league goal that you should care about now is try to go undefeated. Go out there and try to win the treble and go down as the team with the resume in football history. Hard to do that if you blow it against Shrewsbury.

Don’t think anyone is denying that. That said, when it comes to the spending topic, net spend is the more telling data point. City is way ahead of every PL team in that regard.

Y’all having the league wrapped up makes it much easier for everyone else to come to grips that it’s happening. We are all already prepared for it when that day comes
Lord it would have been a shite show if it came down to the last couple weekends and y’all won it on some dramatic fashion. Every non Liverpool fan would have to take a timeout from the internet or British sports media
You think you know. But you have no idea. I’ve been waiting and watching Liverpool frick it up for 20+ years. Your body is NOT ready

Nigel gave the EU the finger, while also having their Trophy.
Winning it again, while Flying the Union Jack will be another dick slap to the EU. Might even see a mushroom mark being left on the EU's forehead

I just can't imagine telling someone here that the FA Cup doesn't matter I just fail to understand the mindset about not caring about a legitimate trophy, especially with such a massive lead in the league table

And this is only if Man City wins every match. It's over.

No way you can guarantee that a bunch of kids who are 6th in the under 23 table and are 2nd in the under 18 north division are going to beat a bunch of grown arse men fighting to put food on the table. It’s not like they are a non league side. They are at the level that a majority of premier league youth players end up in the football pyramid. There or the Championship and maybe wasting away in Scotland. Liverpool’s academy has produced one quality player for its first team in the last 15 years.
At the end of the day if he rolls the kids out it’s what ever, but as the manager of a club like Liverpool with the stature it has in England basically being 1A or 1B depending on who you ask. He should be on the touchline, instead he openly disrespects the second most important competition domestically behind the league.
It’s really strange he’s been like this with the cups bc he wasn’t that way with the DFB Pokal.....

Probably because Germany only has one domestic cup competition, they have a long winter break, and they play fewer league games.

Yea but basically has thrown in the towel on the league cup the last few years
The German winter break after two weeks they are back in warm weather training camps and playing friendlies
It still leads to fixture congestion at the end of the season
