In my second year as manager of Everton, currently fifth in the EPL and heading into the final matches of group stage in Champions League action (finished third in EPL in first season).

The main goal I have is to eventually make Everton a five-star club with at least one FA Cup, Carling Cup, EPL crown, and Champions League title before I call it quits.

My second goal is to pump as many Americans as I can into the team. Right now I have Landon Donovan, Freddy Adu (sub), Omar Gonzalez (sub), and (of course) Tim Howard on the team right now.

Heading into the winter transfer period, who's an American star that I can go out and get?

(FCD won't sell me Shea for anything...they don't have enough midfielders on the squad to allow them to sell him to me.)

Oh, and here's my current starting XII:

ST: Saha
LW: Hulk (Sold off a bunch of veterans in the first season to buy him off...currently leads EPL in goals)
RW: Donovan
CAM: Tshabalala (South African star, just a personal favorite of mine) or Osman
CDM: Fellaini/Ramires (former Chelsea man)
LB: Baines
CB: Distin/Heitinga (moved him from CDM)
RB: Neville
GK: Howard

I am in year 3 with Norwich City and have brought in Edu, Chandler, and Charlie Davies. Won the Carling Cup so I hope it's good for a Europa League spot. Finished 17th, 12th and probably heading for a 8-10 place this season.

Altidore would be my first target. Saha is old. You need a striker for the future.

CD9 can still play in Fifa? That's nice.

I'm in my second year with Chelsea and I got Donovan, Holden, Adu, Lichaj, and Altidore.

Not only is Saha old, but he can't stay healthy to save his life. I've had to rely on Adu and my other sub striker, Neto Berola, to fill in. Tshabalala has been a miracle worker for me, though.

I think I might sell off some young mids and strikers that I never use to get either Holden or Dempsey. Altidore may come later...Adu's been improving a good bit.

Won't be surprised if he ends up at AS Roma.

The funny thing is that there's been so much talk about an "American" player to help marketing in the states.

Since, I have an Italian passport I'm one that tends to defend Rossi's choice to play for whoever he wants but I'm not sure what it does for the marketing of Roma in the States.

He certainly could go anywhere but there's been a lot of "smoke" from his agent, who's supposedly close to the American ownership group, as well as Rossi himself saying how much he likes Enrique's system at Roma.

My problem with Rossi is simply that comes off like a douce but from a tactical standpoint a player with his skill set makes sense.

See you later Saha, hello Clint Dempsey.

The front four of Dempsey, Donovan, Hulk, and Neto Berola (97 in speed and acceleration, has gained four points in overall rating since the beginning of the season) is SICK. Just picking apart other clubs...hopefully my defense can hold up.

Pick up wilshere or gotze... They end up being high 90s by the mid 20s. I dropped an arm and a leg to get gotze on my arsenal squad in my first transfer period. I had to get rid of Ramsey and arshavin though, and that was the only transfer I could make for a while
