When will we start to hear Gus Johnson call soccer in earnest?

I really got into the World Cup and I'm aware that soccer purists in America are really down on the idea of Gus being the voice of soccer here.

With that said, I've never really heard him call a big game aside from the Gold Cup stuff (I think).

When will we start seeing him call USA games (men or women) and when does the Euro leagues that he currently broadcasts on start airing here?

Sorry if already asked/posted.

When does he start calling USMNT games, USWNT games, and World Cup action on Fox?

Gus didn't do any of the matches in the summer Guinness thing in the US. Fox had all but two matches. I hope that's an indicator that the Gus-soccer marriage is quietly ending.

Fairly certain I read somewhere that he and Wynalda will be the lead team for the Women's WC next year.

I'm scared.

He has a huge $$$ contract with Fox though. Even if they were trying to save face, there's no way that they wouldn't be getting SOME use out of him on NFL games. He'd easily be their (at worst) 3rd best NFL play by play guy.

First of all, I just want to say that I can't believe they're making another Ernest movie.

Works for me. Let him do NFL in 2015 and beyond. If he is their so-called #1 guy (on FS1, that is), then why is he not on their MLB coverage? I bet he actually knows baseball well enough to call those games.

Gus did the FA cup final between Man city and Wigan

Did a good job and was all over the Wigan header for the win.

I think I could deal with Gus a lot more if he didn't have that dbag with him. He will never be great but he's a likeable enough guy. Give him a decent, experienced color guy
