Illegal immigration undoubtedly hurts the economy in many ways. I won't begin to try to deny that. Especially, like you said, when it comes to using public services. Hispanic communities often have high crime rates as well.

However, our country was built by immigrants. Many were brought here as slaves, and many came illegally.

In modern times, most illegal immigrants complement skilled laborers quite well actually. You'd be surprised how much easier they have made your life, though I don't expect you to admit it. They really only directly compete with individuals who don't hold a high school diploma. An entirely separate topic.

You can do some research yourself on the topic. Illegal immigrants have had positive effects on the areas where they are most prominent. Skilled laborers make more on average in those areas, progress is more efficient and they are allowed to work more hours.

They have a positive effect on the economy. And that continually grows. An economist will tell you that.

Until news comes out that says Boyd, Fab Johnson, Williams all had Germany interested in them but they told them "frick no, I'm going play for a country that I have never really been to", it is to be assumed that the German Federation had no interest in them.
