What does Man U need to not be... Bland?

As of right now Zlatan, Mata, Carrick, Valencia and Fellaini (!) are all key cogs of their team and all aged 29-35. The lack of pace and creativity is obviously killing this team, and outside of Martial, Rashford, and Pogba there is no real signs of promise for the current roster.
In my opinion they are in a very tough spot. The smart play would be to clean shop again and build around Martial and Pogba, but then your core two players have slightly underperformed and you need a whole new roster from CDM forward. On the other hand, if you add a piece or two that doesn't change the fact that the majority of your team is old as shite or unathletic.
The defense is ok outside of Rojo if they hold on De Gea.
What does the soccer board think the right moves are?

Minus Zlatan. He's a beast but he's old.

Mourihno is definitely contributing to the stagnant offense but who exactly is he going to put in?

Mhki has been good
Rashford still working on his final product, but is still exciting going forward.

Bend over and take it from their West London overlords.

Not going to lie,I was loving the stastics that NBC showed where Van Gaal was doing better than him on points at this point in the season.

With that being said, I really hope they don't buy another star striker when Zlatan leaves. Would like to see Rashford get his shot.

I mean 3-4 years ago James Wilson was the chosen one.

He was also 17 years old at the time, plus Rashford already has double the amount of appearances that Wilson had.

What about Martial? What has happened to him this season?

Really not sure where you're going with that one.
All i'm saying is that i'd rather see an academy kid like Rashford get a chance and succeed before a guy that United would bring in for around 80 million.
With that being said, I am a bit biased when it comes to this after following Spurs for the past few seasons.

I think he means what has happened to Martial this season? Has he dropped off or what?

Yes, this is what I'm asking.
Has he been hurt? Or is he not a player that fits w/ what Mou is trying to do?
Is he going to leave or what?

I honestly have no clue, don't follow United close enough to give an answer.
I thought you were trying to make a point about the Rashford situation by bringing up Martial.
Had me confused for a second

I'm not a United fan but I watch a lot of their games. To me, he always looks bummed out or something. Like he's not having fun. I'm not sure that he has the personality to be a real difference maker for a club like Manchester United.
There are countless examples of really good players that for whatever reason can't get it done playing under Jose. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but his style just doesn't really mesh with what Mourinho typically likes out of his wingers. He has great offensive potential but he's not the type of player who will run all day and track back on defense. Some players style's simply don't mesh with what the manager wants.
