What are the best Soccer Socks?

All the people in the know say TruSox are the way to go. They are pricey (~$40). I've never worn them.
The Nike Elite ones are reasonably priced and work pretty well. You can also get them in your favorite club/country colors.

Cheap walmart brand socks. Small and tight on the leg so th guards stay in place

Super cheap socks are too slick and cause slipping in the boot. That said, base level Nike or adidas works fine. Tru Sox if you don't mind spending $40.

Good socks are incredibly important if you play regularly. Callouses and blister occur easily with the wrong socks

As both a runner, and Sunday league warrior I highly advise going to a specialty store and paying the premium for the higher end Adidas, Diadora, Umbro, or Nike socks. Make sure you wear a sock that fits you. Avoid cotton. This applies to distance running as well as soccer.
More importantly make sure your cleat is very snug, but not too tight. For soccer boots I tend to go 1 whole size smaller than what I normally wear for running.

I bought a pair of Adidas at Dicks for $12. They seem really nice. I may get another pair or two.
I'm an endurance walker/jogger currently clocking 100 Miles per week.
Sometimes I go hiking when it's wet/cold and my buddies told me to get some soccer socks and I would notice the difference.
